Explore on foot... Circular Walks from The Riverside at Aymestrey Five routes from our front door, from a gentle woodland stroll to a full day in the Marches hills
Step out of our front door and you are straight into some of the finest walking country in the Welsh Marches.
The River Lugg runs past the garden, The Mortimer Trail passes through the village, and ancient woods, Iron Age ramparts and ruined castles are all within reach on our circular walks from Aymestrey.
We have put together five circular walks that start and finish at the inn. They run from a gentle hour in the woods to a full day in the hills, so there is one for every pair of legs.
Each ends where it should, back with us, boots off, with a drink in hand.
